Intraday Trader at Aarhus Energy

Aarhus Energy A/S is looking for an Intraday Trader for our European power desk. You will get the chance to become an early joiner in a startup within commodity trading. Our ambition is to create an environment in which we automate our trading strategies and apply them to European main markets.

Your role will be to execute our trading strategies and ensure that we move towards automation wherever possible. You will belong to the trading team and will be expected to trade profitably in the markets, create proof of concept for trading strategies, perform analysis and co-develop automated execution across markets.

The role:

• To trade in day-ahead and intraday markets.
• To trade in capacities across borders and interconnectors.
• Ensure that we execute our strategies.

Your skillset:

• Trading experience from a similar or adjacent role.
• A basic understanding of programming within the field of trading.
• Excellent English skills – oral and written.

• You want to take responsibility for profitability, business development, and optimization/consolidation.
• You understand that succeeding is a team effort.
• You are willing to work from our office in Aarhus.
